Photographic artist Ishmael Amuzu-Quaidoo aka Kobby Katalist started his photography journey in September 2015. Having been a victim of corporate depression, Kobby channeled his passion for photography into a healing medication and the joy of putting smiles on the faces of others has never eluded him.
Kobby graduated Electronics and Communications Engineering with a first class honors degree and had the chance to work in a Big Four accounting firm as a tax consultant for 7 years. It was during this period that he developed the love for photography.
For the past years, he has shot weddings, celebrities, fashion catalogues, events and best of all won the prestigious Agora Images Hero award for Red 2019. His work has been featured in a number of online publications including Daily Mail and the cover page of Perazim Magazine.
Kobby's enthusiasm for teaching photography and the business side of photography has seen him on a couple of workshops both online and in-person and is always a guest facilitator on The Shop and Open Shutter.
